Roxette
The mark of brilliance
Deciding what CD of Roxette to get next, now that I have some money in my bank account again after a long while, was never going to be easy. I was keen to have an album with Listen To You're Heart, It Must Have Been Love and also Dressed For Success and I have discovered a greatly priced single for one of those songs on Amazon and added to my basket. But let's go back a few days. I had first discovered the Roxbox quite some time ago and it is my current understanding that there exists at least two different versions, with one being a quite limited release containing a DVD and now selling for around the £100 mark. But the other and just as awesome version, the one I purchased, is essentially a four CD collection that I worked out to contain over four hours worth of music! Yes, I know. Already the thought of four hours of Roxette is enough to take one to music paradise but check out the price. I paid around £10, just £10, for this awesome collectible collection and it is still on sale right now for the same price, pretty much. £10 for almost 80 songs... Let that sink in... Frankly I am still amazed. Earlier today I started listening to each CD, from the first to the fourth and finished a few hours later, now having officially been on the longest and most expansive Roxette trip ever. The CDs themselves are naturally presented among Roxette themed artwork, as well as such artwork being present on the CDs themselves and each CD has reserved for its seating habit an individual seat.
CD1 contains the songs non Roxette fans but slightly aware of the band or listening to Magic 105.4 type people will be familiar with, I think. Here we have It Must Have Been Love and Listen To Your Heart and Dressed For Success and The Look.
